Week Nine

My week nine documents a pretty low key week in the life of the Bradys. Actually most weeks are low key, but it's a fun time to document some stages that the girls are at. I know I'll look back and laugh about how much Kate love to save EVERYTHING at this moment. Right now I have three mini cupcakes (it should be four, but I ate one so we'll see how she handles that, lol), a half eaten sucker, part of a chocolate milk, and three mini corn dogs that she's saving. Anyway, here's my week nine:

Week Eight

Yes I am a slacker. I've had my pictures sitting and waiting for days for me to get around to posting them:) So let me introduce you to week eight (I'm sorry about the glare in some of the pictures):

See you tomorrow with week nine:)

Week Seven

To tell you the truth the motivation to get week six done was driven by the thoughts of getting to do week seven afterwards, lol. With a holiday mixed in the week it's definitely a lot of fun and I had some fun new digit products that I've been wanting to play with also. Here's how it turned out:

I added a business card page protector this week since I had so many fun bits from Valentines Day. It was a lot of fun to work with so many 2.5x3.5" slots. I'm sure I'll be doing it a lot in the future. I put a "V-Day" tab on the front and the back of it says "not Veterans Day." On Valentines morning Grace informed me that if I needed to that I could write V-Day instead of Valentines Day, but I needed to be careful because it also means Veterans Day. I just thought it was kind of funny how intent she was one telling me that.

We did a mystery dinner for the girls which was super fun. I inserted the menu so we'd remember what we served.

I had this instagram picture that Grace took of Ellie before we went for our walk and it was extra, but I still wanted to use it somehow. So I just tucked it in behind the park pic so it doesn't get totally forgotten.

Every week once my pictures are printed and I'm sitting down with my fine point sharpie, paper cutter, and corner rounder, I have to say it's one of the times I look forward the most. I'm loving the process. Also having great digital stuff to play with makes it that much better. Today at The-Lilypad you can pick up for a discounted price:

and also one of my best friends Emily and I collaborated on something fun:

Have a great week!

Week Six

I'm getting caught up I promise, lol! I really don't want to get behind and I really am loving getting each week put together while I still remember details. Let me introduce you to week six:

Grace and Corey went on a daddy daughter date that week and brought home this first place certificate so I slipped it into a 8 1/2x11 sleeve and put a piece of art that Abby brought home on the other side.

We went to a little presentation for all of the kids turning eight and getting baptized this year. I slipped the invitation in after Abby colored it to remember that night. I started using the Turbo Fire dvds this week and instead of cutting up any of the papers I have from the set I just downloaded an image and printed it right onto my project life grid card with a little help from Paislee Press.

The girls bring home SO much paper it drives me a little crazy. I was getting a stack together to throw away when I was looking over a spelling test that Abby took and thought it might be fun to use a word that she wrote. That's where this word joy came from. The lego paper is an invitation folded in half the the girls got for a birthday party. The "hello" rectangle is thanks to my new Silhouette Cameo that my awesome husband bought for me. I just had to test it out :)

I love the look of doodles which is probably partly why (besides that fact that they're awesome ladies besides their artistic talents) I love the designs of Emily Merritt and Kate Hadfield so much . If you like doodles too here's something for you:

Enjoy! See you in a few days with week seven ;)

Week Five

Ack! I've gotten a bit behind in my posting, but I vow to make up for it on my next post:) Week five actually came together pretty quickly for me, but it has been finding the time to post that has been the problem. So after feeding Ellie at 3:30am I decided that I could get a lot of things done by just staying awake, so here I am. Here's Week five:

So starting in this week I have jumped on the Instagram band wagon. It's so fun just taking quick pictures here and there. I purposefully didn't take any cameras with us on our Saturday outing so that it would just be an Instagram collage. Love it.

The middle picture has a tag that Grace donated from her friend who brought her cookies during the week.

This week's question of the week the girls didn't even have to think for a second what they'd write about. On the other hand Corey and I are still pondering, lol.

Now I've got to get down to business and finish my week six. Hopefully I'll be posting again in a few days and along with the next week's pictures have a freebie that has been floating around in my head for a while now. Wish me luck on finding a few minutes to do it. Have a great week.

Week Four

I can't believe how fast January flew by! Wow. Since I'm going to be reusing a lot of the same products to keep things simple throughout the year I thought that I'd post what products that I use each week on my side bar. So if you see something you like just click on the pic! So let's begin:

Please ignore the not so great lighting that I had to deal with in these pictures from my sister-in-law's birthday. Someday I'll have a house with amazing lighting even at night (is that possible?). The sewing machine is one that I doodled long ago.

I told the girls that if they were showered and in their pjs by the time Corey got home from work that we'd get ice cream (through the drive-thru of course). I should do that every Saturday night because they were so fast that they were sitting and waiting for awhile before we could go. Grace took up her time drawing pictures of getting ice cream. I just had to keep one.

True Kate personality.

One thing that I thought would be fun is to ask everyone the same random question each week.

Corey and I like to look at house plans online sometimes just for fun. We are definitely not anywhere near to the point of building, but it sure is fun to look. Turns out we're pretty picky and have never agreed on one until this one popped up:)

What a sweet face:)

Hope you enjoyed! Tingey if you're out there I proof read this week ;)
